The Mutations Anticipations Innovations Chair,
research that moves the lines in management

Our expertise

Organizations, whether private, public or part of the Social and Solidarity Economy, are facing major changes (economic, technological, sociological and ecological) in their environment. Since its creation in 2009, the Mutations Anticipations Innovations Chair has been developing a research program on how organizations are transforming in the face of these changes in their environment, and how to support them.

In partnership with socio-economic players (companies, associations, trade unions, etc.), the MAI Chair is developing research into new forms of organization, innovative systems, and organizational and managerial practices that are being created in response to these changes.

How can we specify these transformations and how can we support them? What innovations are emerging and spreading, and what are the conditions for their transferability? How can we encourage the emergence of responsible practices? In the face of these changes, the MAI Chair is particularly interested in the new forms of social regulation and dialogue to be invented within organizations, the transformations of work and employment, and the implementation of new forms of solidarity.

The MAI Chair aims to contribute to knowledge in management science and management in the fields of organization and management systems, human resources management and strategy.

To this end, the Chair provides a platform for exchanges between researchers and their socio-economic partners, with the aim of identifying research topics, sharing and discussing results, disseminating these results to the widest possible audience, and initiating new collaborations between practitioners and researchers.

The research results, obtained using qualitative and quantitative methods, form the basis for exchanges and discussions, and feed into the teaching of the associated master's degrees (HR-CSR and Management of Associations). The organizations observed stand out for their innovative practices and their focus on social and environmental responsibility.
